I am posting this prayer which I have borrowed from the liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church.<\/p>\n

O Jesus,
\nit is not the heavenly reward You have promised
\nwhich impels me to love You;
\nneither is it the threat of hell
\nthat keeps me from offending You.
\nIt is You O Lord,
\nit is the sight of You
\naffixed to the Cross and suffering insults;
\nit is the sight of Your broken body,
\nas well as Your pains and Your death.
\nThere is nothing You can give me
\nto make me love You.
\nFor even if there were no heaven<\/a> and no hell
\nI would still love you as I do! \u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n

I don’t like the pain I know Jesus suffered but I am overwhelmed by the love of God to make Jesus the sacrifice for all human sin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
